Hola mis amigos! Well this week was pretty good! It went by super fast! It goes faster every week I feel like. But yeah we had zone conference on Tuesday which was super good! Then we didn't get back to our area till Thursday cause we had exchanges with the elders in Chelan. But then Thanksgiving was pretty good! Its just different on the mission. We had two dinners which was rough. #firstworldproblems We ate with some members and then we had our investigators Monica y Arturo Reyes invite us over for dinner with them and their family as well so that was a lot of fun! They are so awesome and sooooo close to baptism! But yeah then nothin else really happened. Something we have been sharing a lot with people we talk to since Friday is the new Christmas thing the church came out with called Light the World. It is so awesome!! If you have not seen it, check it out right now. Its all about how we can be more like the Savior and serve others in different ways, and be a light unto the world. Hence the name. I just encourage you all to look at it and share it with others and brighten up there day a bit. Its super easy, you just share the link to the videos. So no excuses. haha anyway, love you all and Ill talk to you next week!! Elder Zev Harman

Que onda?? Aight so this week was super good! Super busy but super good! Being a Zone Leader is very time consuming. And that time is not consumed with proselyting as much as I wish it could be. We go to tons of meetings, have all this paper work to fill out and reports and stuff. And most the meetings we have, we have to run them so we are always planning for those so there is a lot of logistical things that we do on the side of tracting and teaching people. But it's so fun and I love it! The cool thing is we get to work with all the missionaries in the zone so we are able to get to know a lot more missionaries and help out a lot more with things than you do when you are not a Zone Leader. So it's fun! So something I wanted to share was about a recent convert here in the area named Jose Lopez. He is a hero to me. So he got baptized the weekend before I got here. He was investigating for a long time, but was waiting for his wife to be ready so they could be baptized together. But after 10 months of waiting for her she decided she wanted nothing to do with the church. So when he told her he was going to be baptized, she left to Arizona with their son to live with one of their other sons. But he got baptized anyway. She recently came back after being gone for about three weeks. But now she is trying to get him to not go to church and everything. But he keeps coming for all three hours and loves it. She called him 20 times yesterday during church cause she didn't want him there. But he didn't answer because he told us, "I know I am supposed to be here, I know this is where the Lord wants me. I'm not going to let her stop me. I made the right choice by getting baptized and I'm not going to stop now." He is so awesome. He also doesn't speak a lick of English and has no idea what people say to him when they talk to him at church, but he goes around saying hi to everyone and just smiles the whole entire time. He is amazing. We translate for him, but it can't be the same. Anyway, I just love him and his example. He knows what he did was right, and he is not going to let anything stop him. He took that leap of faith and the Lord is going to take of the rest. I know that to be true. Well I gotta get goin but I love you all! Have a good week! Elder Zev Harman |
