Bueno,
This week literally flew. I know I say that like every week. But seriously, I am pretty sure this was the shortest week of my whole mission. It made me sick when I woke up yesterday and realized it was Sunday. It is not okay how fast time is able to go. What is time? Who knows? Anyway, this week was super good! We had an exchange this week. Elder Cannon had his exit interview this week. That was weird. Today is his last P-Day. Super weird. He is hangin in there though! He doesn't want to stop being a missionary, I mean, who would? So this week was pretty cool. On Friday we didn't have time to do weekly planning so we had to move it to Saturday. Then we decided to go do it at the park that is in our area because we didn't want to be in the apartment anymore then we had to. So we went and found a nice shady spot at a table and started planning. When we were about halfway through, and lady walked up and asked if she could study with us. Obviously we said yes and we made some room for her to sit down. After talking with her for a while, we found out she was almost baptized about 7 months ago and then she got a divorce and went off the deep end. We talked to her about how baptism could help her and how she could receive the gift of the holy ghost to help her through all she is experiencing. We ended up putting her on-date to be baptized in August. We put it out kinda far because we are not sure if she is ready. Elder Cannon remembers the missionaries that taught her talking about how the divorce really took a toll on her. But it was really awesome to see how much she truly wanted the help of the gospel in her life. It was pretty cool. Her name is Dania by the way. Well, lately I have been trying to recognize even the tiniest of blessings that I enjoy everyday in my life. It is something that I don't think I am very good at, but I want to be better. Throughout this past week I have realized how truly blessed we all are to for one, live in this country, two, we get to experience the joy of the gospel. There is no greater blessing. "Men are that they might have joy." Our Father in Heaven wants us to have joy, sometimes its our own fault when we think we are not happy. Happiness is a choice. We need to chose to do the things that will bring us everlasting joy. For me, I think the first step is to notice that everyday we receive blessings on blessings on blessings. So try it. I did, and now I way up, I feel blessed. I love you all, and I hope you all have a great week! Con mucho amor, Elder Zev Harman
