Buenos dias a todos! So this week was super good! We had a ton happen. First we had Zone Conference on Tuesday, down in Wenatchee. Then Wednesday we had a world wide missionary broadcast from Salt Lake. And that was really cool. It was just those on the missionary council of the church. We will be seeing a few changes in our reporting in our numbers as well as our daily schedule. So that will be kinda weird. But the schedule is going to be more where we choose when we do things instead of such a set in stone thing. Which I think is going to be really cool. Their whole idea behind it is to help us get in the habit of setting time aside for studies and things throughout the day so that when we go home, we are already doing it. So it's mostly to help prepare us for when we are at home so we can adjust quicker. I like the idea. But yeah, then we had exchanges with the elders in Oroville. They are about 50 minutes north of us. I went up there with Elder Amat on Wednesday evening until Thursday. It was good. We went to the Canadian border haha so that was fun! They live about 10 minutes away from it. So we went up there on our lunch break. Then Saturday was transfer calls. I am staying and getting a new companion, Elder Alsop from Orem Utah. He is a super cool guy. He has been out about a year now so I will get to drive again! Yeah! Anyway, Elder Wunderlich aka Elder Wundy is going to Yakima! So that will be fun for him! But yeah thats is a quick update on the week! I can't think of anything else that happened. So one of our recent converts, Jose Lopez is working on getting the priesthood. We are super excited because we have been teaching his wife and son, Leanor and Andy, and they are both on date for February 11th! They are awesome. Kinda a miracle with them. So about 2 months ago, Leanor and Jose were having some troubles. But then Jose met with the bishop, and we don't know what else changed but something did. And for the last three weeks she has been participating in the English classes with Jose. Then we asked her if she would want to start taking the lessons again and she agreed. On Wednesday we invited her and their son, Andy, who is 9, to be baptized. They excepted! So we are pumped! Last week we had a family home evening with them and some members in a members home. Then on Saturday we had a dinner at a different members home and watched Meet the Mormons with them afterwards. So they are progressing very quickly. Hopefully Jose can get the priesthood in time to baptize them, cause that would be sick! Anyway, that's all I got for this week. I'll talk to you next week! Love you all! Elder Zev Harman

What it is fam?! Hey everyone! Sorry I don't have a ton of time again this week. But it was a good week! We had some awesome things happen this week and also some annoying ones, but it's all good. We shoveled a ton of snow this week which was fun. We are pros now! But yeah that's really it. Just listen to the recording for details. Oh one thing. So on exchanges this week with Elder Hibbard (one of the elders I live with) I found out he worked for a little bit at Crestwood, the place that my grandma was living. And he is pretty sure he helped her a few times with some things. Small world, just thought I would add that fun fact! Who knows, he could have been there while some of you were there. Anyway, love you all!! Elder Zev Harman |
