Hola! Well this week was super good! We had a pretty good last week here in the prophets puddle! We found out I will be transferred to Omak serving as a zone leader! So that will be fun!! And Elder Veropalumbo will be training a new missionary here in Moses Lake! But yeah so I will be going to a new area which is always exciting! Our week ended really well with one of our Investigators coming to Church! Gricelda came with her 3 little kids, finally!! She kept saying she was going to come but something always came up. Satan was working very hard on her every week. But this week she made it! It was awesome. It was a super good fast and testimony meeting and she really like it! Hopefully she keeps progressing. It was a good last Sunday in Moses Lake since she finally was able to come! Other than that there is not much for me to talk about. Ill talk to you next week! Love you all!! Have a good week! Buenos dias a todos! So this week was good! Again, not a ton happened but it was a good week! We worked super hard this week, but not a ton seemed to happen from it! But hopefully we see the fruits in the future. But yeah, we went to the temple! That was amazing! I love going to the temple! So this morning in my studies I was reading in Helaman, which is super awesome btw. Anyway, In chapter 12 it talks a lot about what happens when we always remember the Lord and keep his commandments vs. when we don't. It talks about how we are nothing compared to God. It says that even the dust of the earth is better than us cause the dust will ALWAYS obey God. Whereas we do not always obey him. But if we submit our will to his, and it talks about hearkening to the word of God, that we will always be taken care of and we will stand with him at the last days. A couple scriptures I read along with that was James 1:22. That talks about being doers of the word, not just hearers. Which is something huge. We cant just go to church and listen to conference and go through the motions. We have to actually do something. I think of hearkening as hearing but then acting on what you hear and making it mean something. Which are things I never did before my mission. I then read in Mathew 7:24-27. Christ gives the parable of the wise man and foolish man. We all know that one from primary. So it mist be important right? If we build our foundation on the rock, which from Helaman 5:12 we learn is Christ, we will never fall. We will always be able to stand strong against anything Satan throws at us. If we build our foundations upon Christ, and always hearken to the word of God, which means acting, we will never have to worry. The Lord will always provide. He has already promised that to us. Anyway, my studies were pretty sick this morning haha! So yeah that was my week! Hope you all have a good week! Love you! Elder Zev Harman |
