Hola!
Alright...Well my time here in Cashmere has come to an end. So I will be transferred to Yakima serving with Elder Fordham. He has been out for a transfer, so I will be finishing up the second half of his training so that will be fun! But I still don’t know Spanish and he is also new to Spanish so it will be interesting when we are talking to people. But it will be fun cause we are going to be down in the ghetto and all the sketchy parts of Yakima so I am pretty pumped about that! And we will be close to the mission home so that’s cool too! I am really excited to this next chapter of my mission, but very sad to be leaving. I have loved this area and all the members and people I have met. I will remember some of the members for a very long time. I’m going to miss a lot of people here. I honestly feel like I am saying goodbye to my home ward again. But something that one of my zone leaders said last week in a meeting we had was, "There is no growth in the comfort zone and no comfort in the growth zone." That has helped a lot since I heard the news about transfers on Saturday. But this next area will be awesome! Also, saying goodbye to investigators will be tough. But mostly the new member I mentioned a few weeks ago. He is so awesome! He is doing a little better, but still has not been to church since Elder Gaburel came to this area so that has been sad. But hopefully he will go next week! I’m gonna miss that guy! Anyway, it was a good week! Kinda crazy but good! I’ll talk to you all next week and update you on the new area! Love you all! Have an awesome week! Here is a pic of me pretending to eat a snake and also with some awesome members! They have been married for 70 years! It’s crazy! Elder Harman

Hola!!
Alrighty well not a ton happened this week. It went by crazy fast! I cant believe how fast time is going by. It's really sad. Anyway, I don't have a ton of time to email today sorry about that, so it's gonna be short today. But it was a really good week. Nothing super eventful. But we did have conference, which was sick! Conference is the bomb! So Conference on a mission is VERY different than ever before. I have a new found love for Conference. I think as members of the church we don't realize how special Conference really is. The Lord's prophets seers and revelators speak directly to us. WHAT?! Seriously, so cool! During conference I thought about what it would be like to have Peter, James, and John and the ancient apostles speaking to us. How crazy would that be!? I just think it is so cool that we have men like them in today's world to lead and guide us. That is something I hope to cherish for the rest of my life. Anyway, I have to go, but I will make my email next week better I promise! Love you all! Always remember, why. Con Amor, Elder Harman Oh here is a pick of our nerf war last p day! |
