Hey everyone!
Well, it has been a transfer (6 weeks) here in Washington. It’s crazy how fast time is going by. I feel like I put my papers in like a week ago. The MTC flew by and now I have been in the field as long as I was in the MTC. Ugh, I just wish time would slow down for a sec, but oh well. It’s going by fast, but I am loving every second of it! I have already learned so much and continue to everyday. I can’t imagine where I would be if I didn’t choose to serve a mission. I know I have only been out 3 months now, but my life has completely changed forever. So this past week has been awesome! We had a couple great lessons with our on date, Arturo. He is still doing great! His only concern is he doesn’t want to be baptized and then go in-active soon after. He says if he is baptized he wants to stay strong and never go in-active. He knows it is all true and he is really interested in the temple and also the priesthood. This Sunday at church during the sacrament he was asking me if, when I was little, if I passed the sacrament. I told him I did and that after he is baptized and gets the priesthood, that he could do it too. He was so excited when he found that out, he just couldn’t stop smiling! He is 57 and his life is completely changed since we started teaching him. My comp met him before I got here and he said he was an old grumpy man and was really mean. But since he has started learning about the gospel and coming to church, he has completely changed. And he tells us all the time how much he is changing and how much he is going to in the near future. He is so great. We are working with him to be ready for baptism by the 23rd of this month! Also this week we found a new investigator!! It is the first new one since I have been here. We have tried and tried to find new people to grow our teaching pool, but haven’t had any success until now. So his name is Rofino. He is 30 years old and lives in a little house with him and his wife. He is catholic, but doesn’t know if his church is true, he just goes because that’s what he has always done with his family. #allcatholics Anyway, so he is awesome. We found him tracting the other day. He just let us right in and we taught the Restoration and he had a TON of questions but we were able to answer all of them and he was super interested! Then we went back last night and had another great lesson with him! He always has lots of questions and is fascinated with our answers. So that is good! He seems super solid so we will see how that goes! Well that’s all for this week. Elder Harman

Well, this week wasn’t super eventful. We were not allowed to proselyte or anything because of the holidays. So we did a lot of service! We cut some wood for some super old people so that was fun. We don’t look like we are having fun in this pic but I promise we were! It was just hard to smile when it was like, 10 degrees outside. But it was fun! So yeah, not a whole lot this week. But our investigator Arturo is still progressing to his baptismal date on the 23rd so that is super exciting! We had a good lesson with him this week about the priesthood and all that super awesome stuff. And when he found out he could have the priesthood, he got super excited and couldn’t stop smiling. Then our next lesson we taught him about eternal marriage and that just made him more excited! He is so awesome at the end of our lesson he said, "Elders, you are going to see a very different Arturo in the next couple months." And we were like, "Yeah cause you are going to get baptized right?" and he was like, "Yeah...I have to..." When he said that the spirit was sooooo strong. It was sick. I can’t wait for him to enter into that covenant with his Father in Heaven. Anyway, that was my week! Oh and I’m 19 now which is super weird but its whatever...love you guys, talk to you next week!
