So far we just have a few photos from Elder Harman this week. We won't complain though cause it sure is good to see his face. I'll add a letter here if one comes through today.

Hola everybody!
So the MTC is so amazing. I have learned and grown so much in the short time I have been here! I am absolutely LOVING it! My district is awesome and so is my zone. We have had a couple districts leave since I got here. It was pretty hard to say goodbye to some of those guys. It’s kinda crazy, I only knew them for about a week and a half, but I felt like I have known them my whole life. There were a couple of them that were awesome examples to me and without them I am not sure my experience here would be as positive as it is. The Lord works in marvelous ways. There are specific reasons for every detail of our lives. I know I am going to Yakima for a special reason that I may not find out in this life. I was talking to some sisters in my district and we were all saying how we feel like we have known everyone for so long! And we just thought it was kinda crazy how we all came to the same MTC on the same day and were put in the same district and zone. And there are some people in our district that were supposed to go to other MTCs but ended up here. Anyway, just kinda cool how everything has played out. So, something really awesome happened this week. Me and my comp (Elder Buchanan) were teaching our investigator about the restoration and Joseph Smith and also about the power of prayer. And we got to the part about the First Vision and I was really nervous because I didn't know all of it in Spanish. All I remember is starting it, I don't remember the rest of it. But my comp said I nailed it and our investigator was crying...it was so amazing! And then she asked us why we wanted to serve a mission. I bore my testimony and just told her why. I am not sure how I did because some of the things I said my companion told me we haven't even learned yet, but I know it was the Holy Ghost. I had been praying to feel the spirit more strongly in our lessons and that was the first lesson so far that I really felt the gift of tongues working. I know it is just the MTC, but this has gotten me so excited to get out in the field! El don de Lenguas es muy reál! That’s just one of the spiritual experiences I have had these last couple weeks. That’s all I have time for today. I’ll write next week. Con Amor, Elder Harman |
