Buenos dias mis amigos! This week went by super quick again! We had a ton to do but not enough time to do it in! But it worked out! I don't have a ton of time left. Today is a little different. Since we are going to the temple on Thursday, that will count as our p-day except for emailing. But yeah I'm just gonna make a recording for this week. Love you all! Have a good one! Oh, and enjoy conference alright?? Make sure you go with some questions. I promise, they will be answered. Love you! Elder Zev Harman Here is a quote for y'all again! (And some photos from interviews with President Lewis)

Hello Hello! So this week was, well, it was amazing. Seriously, I learned SO MUCH this week it's not even funny! Elder Uceda blew my mind! He taught us so much stuff, it was so cool! One of my favorite things is he talked about Matthew 28:19-20. That is kind of the Lord's last commission he gave to his apostles. It says, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." But in Spanish instead of saying, "teach all nations" it says, "make disciples". He then talked about how as missionaries we are not just to teach people so they can get baptized and then we can move on the the next one. He helped everyone understand that we are to help other people become disciples of Jesus Christ. Which means their level of conversion needs to be higher before we should consider them ready for baptism. Which is not something our mission is having a problem with, but it was really cool the way he explained it. I did not do it justice. Anyway, yeah the week was super good! Also, Elder Uceda showed us a super good way to study scriptures. It has already changed my life haha! It's so weird the things you think are cool on a mission. Our peeps are doing good! Shannon came to church again. She is still trying to quit smoking but she is progressing a ton! She is in Mosiah in the Book of Mormon, which is awesome. She told us this week that she feels like she has a peaceful blanket wrapped around her ever since she started reading the Book of Mormon. So that's super cool! Other than that, we are going to be dropping some investigators this week and finding new ones so we will see how that goes. Side note, our investigator Franco who is 90 years old kinda had something sad happen. So he really wants to get baptized and come to church, but he has some friends who come and take care of him who don't want him to. They have been "friends" for years now, and they just help him cook and clean when he needs it, and they drive him places he needs to go and all that jazz. They don't get paid or anything like that, they just help him out cause you know, he's ancient. Anyway, he asked them if they would take him to church and stuff with us, and they told him that if he goes to our church at all or gets baptized, they will stop taking care of him. He is like the cutest old man ever. It's super sad. So yeah that's the update on Franco. But I gotta get goin. Love you all! Have a good week! Elder Zev Harman |
