Hey Err'Body!
Well Wenatchee is so awesome! I love it! There are so many more people in my area. It is so awesome. There are people everywhere. So different from Omak. Oh and traffic is more than one lane. It's so nice. I loved Omak but man, I can't do small towns like that. Omak will always hold a special place in my heart though for sure. So this week I have just been trying to get a grip on the area and get to know all the missionaries in the zone and all that jazz. It has been a good week though. Im glad to be hear in Wenatchee! We have one investigator here named Nancy. She is 18 and is super shy, but super cool! She is on-date for baptism for the 20th of May so thats exciting. She came to church yesterday and brought a friend from school. She loves church, but her friend, not so much haha! Anyway, she is reading and praying everyday. She grew up with no religious background at all, which is surprising since she is Mexican. But her first time praying was with us and she said she really likes the way she feels. She is super cool and just loves learning about God. This week we also talked to this kid named Edwin. He is 17 and a Jehovah's Witness. We had a really good conversation with him on his doorstep, but it was super sad as well. Everything we talked about he just kept saying, "Well you know, the devil can make you think the Book of Mormon is true and everything you believe." Probably one of the few downsides to missionary work is that you have to watch people as Satan works on them right in front of your face. It sucks. We told him, "Edwin, you know Satan can make you think that everything we are telling you is not true as well." He just told us Satan wouldn't do that. Which makes about zero sense but whatever. Yeah it was super hard to be nice after a while. So we left. It was so sad. Anyway, thats all I got! Love you all. have a good week! Elder Zev Harman
