Hola mis amigos!
Bueno pues, time is going by way too quickly. I don't like it. But oh well. Also, being sick on the mish is officially the worst. For a couple reasons: one because you are supposed to sleep and stay home for the most part, which then you feel like you are wasting the Lord's time. Second because when you do stay home there is nothing to do; no TV, no movies, nothing but reading and listening to talks. And third, your mom isn't there to bring you your medicine and take care of you. It's pretty terrible haha! So I have been sick since Monday with I don't even know what but its terrible haha. Anyway, I'm pretty sick so this week we were not able to do a whole lot. I have been trying to sleep as much as possible without feeling like an apostate missionary. Elder Miles and the mission nurse make us stay home more than I would like. But yeah so we didn't have a lot of time out proselyting this week which was not fun, but it is what it is. Also, this week Elder Miles and I have been pretty down just because we aren't having success. We get out and work our butts off but nothing is seeming to come of it. So that has been pretty hard. But the work goes on! All we can do is keep working as hard as we can and the Lord will provide. On Saturday I was sick of being inside all week during the day so we decided to go out and kill it till curfew. We weren't having any luck all day and we were kinda getting frustrated. Then at about 8:50 we found this tiny road that went back behind some houses and we decided to go knock any doors on that road. We knocked about 6 or 7 doors and nothing. Then the last door ended up being a 20 year old girl who was baptized about 3 years ago and was the only member in her family. As we talked she told us she had been waiting for missionaries to knock on her door because she thinks the rest of her family might be ready to hear our message. She said they have been asking questions and even went to church a few times. They weren't home at the time, but she gave us her number to set up a time to come by and talk to them. I don't know if anything will come of it, but it doesn't matter. It was a good reminder to us that the Lord is aware of us and that everything happens on His time, not ours. So nothing else really happened this week...Oh I had my first District Council which was fun! Other than that nothing really happened. Daniel and his wife, well girlfriend I guess, are still working on getting her divorced from the guy in Mexico. He is still super pumped about getting baptized, just gotta keep him excited till they can get married. Hopefully next week will be more entertaining sorry this is kinda been a boring week! Love you all! Talk to you soon! #GODSARMY #JESUSISMORMON Elder Harman
