Hey all!
So this week was great!! We worked really hard and have started to see our area beginning to take off! We found some new areas to tract that I have never even seen before so that will be good! There are a lot of hidden Mexican gold mines in our area. You have to drive on all these tiny sketchy roads and then all of a sudden, boom! Huge trailer park! And it is mostly Mexicans. Which by the way, white people are relentless! They are always so stiff necked and never willing to listen. Anyway, the area is starting to take off so that’s good. So this week we had some service opportunities for a few days to help out at the Special Olympics here is Wenatchee. So that was sick! Special needs kids are the best! SO yeah that was cool! And then we had a bunch of meetings and stuff that I learned a lot in. They were super good! I wanna share a quote from it. SO one of my zone leaders said, "A prayer does not end at amen. If anything, that’s where it starts." I love that. It’s so true. As we pray and ask for blessings and things, we have to also be acting and doing the things we are supposed to, so we are able to receive the blessings. Also, so yesterday a member in our ward was trying to invite a less active friend to church. And he accidently called the wrong guy and invited a Mexican guy that works for him to church. He just showed up and said he wants to come again next week and we might start teaching him now! So that is exciting! It is such a good example of how truly easy missionary work is. Haha he literally accidently invited someone to church. It’s THAT easy! Anyway, just a cool thing that happened this week! Well, I gotta go but I’ll talk more next week! Love you all! Here are some pics on our way to service this week. Elder Harman

Hey everyone!
Aight so this week has been great! Transfers were on Wednesday and I received my new companion, Elder Gaburel! He is so awesome! He is from Utah but was born in CanCun Mexico. He has been out six months and is the District Leader. I have already learned a lot from him. He helps me a ton with my Spanish so that is good. I'm pumped for the next 7 weeks; we are going to kill it! Seriously though, he is awesome! And Elder Wilde is now in Yakima. He goes home in November so I might not see him again till I get home. Oh we did kill some chickens and cook them outside over a fire with a bunch of Mexicans. It was sweet! We had to cut the heads off and pluck them and all that! It was super fun! Not a whole lot happened this week...kinda lame but it was good. We put Luis Ramirez on date for the 19th of March. So that is exciting! Umm i really don't know what else to talk about...it was a pretty uneventful week.... Transfer weeks are always kinda dead. But everything is going fantastic. I seriously cannot think of anything else to talk about...but here are some pics recently. I'll write a better email next week I promise! Love you all! Elder Harman |
