Hola Mis Amigos!
Well this week was really good! Nothing crazy exciting happened but it was good! We have been doing a lot of finding, trying to find new people to teach and stuff so that has been fun! Tracting is interesting in this area. And it is kinda tough in Spanish but I am starting to get a little better at the language I think...haha idk it’s really hard sometimes! It’s coming along slowly... So last week was super hard but this week has been MUCH better! We have been visiting the member I mentioned last week and trying to help him overcome the things he’s having a hard time with. It was really cool, we shared the analogy of Jesus with the black sheep with him and he really liked it and I think he really understood the connection. And then the other day he told us he prayed one night for a really long time asking for forgiveness so that was really cool! He still didn’t feel like he could come to church this Sunday so he didn’t. We tried to help him understand that church is for sinners and that everyone is at church because they are sinners, and that if we were perfect, we wouldn’t need to go to church. But we are going to keep working with him and help him just feel loved cause that is the most important thing for him right now. That is something I have learned since I have been out. Is having a love for people. I mean, back home I feel like I was pretty good at it for the most part. But it’s different now. I have really learned to have a love for people that I literally know nothing about. I don’t know how it is possible but it’s crazy. I don’t know how Christ did it but He was truly amazing. The amount of love He had for everyone is such a great example. And because of that love, He suffered and died for us, that we may overcome death. So during this Easter season, take a minute and think about all Christ did for you. And if you haven’t already, check out the new website the church put out for Easter. It’s sick. I gotta go but I love you all and thank you for all you do for me! Have an amazing week! Elder Harman PS - Here are some pics of me and my comp being dumb...and our district after district counsel!

Hey Everyone!
Alrighty, so this week was the hardest week I have had so far, but I will get to that in a minute. So it started super good just doing normal missionary stuff, tracting, teaching, doing a bunch of service all that jazz! And it was awesome! Me and my comp are getting along GREAT! He is so awesome! We are almost the same person, it’s kinda weird...haha anyway things are going great! So last night we were out tracting in Cashmere for like 3 hours and this same car kept driving past us and slowing down every time they went by. It was getting kinda weird, but then we were walking down a street and they drove past again and stopped a little bit ahead of us. We were kinda sketched out but we just kept walking. Then they backed up to the side of us and rolled down their windows and BOOM! A bunch of teenage girls. They starting talking to us and asking us if we were cold haha they were straight up hitting on us so we OYMed (open your mouth) them and told them we are missionaries and shared a little thought with them about Jesus Christ and gave them cards with the website to the new Easter video and told them to watch it. It was hilarious. It was the last thing I was expecting to happen. And it was the first time in 5 months either of us had been hit on so that was kinda funny haha. Anyway just thought that was kinda funny. But we turned it around and taught the gospel so it worked out I guess! Alright so now on a more serious note...so the last two weeks Arturo has missed church. He was sick one week and then I don’t know why he missed the other week. But anyway, he is having some challenges. We are going to continue to work with him and I’ll keep y'all updated. It has just been just a testimony booster for me about how important the little things are in this gospel. CPR (church, praying, reading). Without doing these three things, we enable Satan to have power and ability to tempt us. I know this gospel is true. I know that Christ lives and because he lives we have the opportunity to live again. I am so grateful for this gospel and the chance I have to serve the Lord. I have learned so much it’s not even funny, and I continue to learn every day. I’ll talk to you all more next week love you! Elder Harman |
